Allen Fletcher

Founder and president
 

Allen Fletcher is a WPM Lead Partner and Community/Government Liaison with the city of Worcester and Commonwealth. A retired business owner and publisher, Allen has played a leadership role in the Greater Worcester Land Trust, the Worcester Youth Center, the Union Station Alliance, the Fletcher/Priest Gallery, the Bijou Community Cinema, and the Canal District Alliance. In 2001, he bought and renovated the former Ash Street School, converting it to a successful mixed-use building in what is now known as the Blackstone Canal District. He has long been active in urban design advocacy in the city and taught urban design/architecture at the Boston Architectural College for several years.

Domenic Mercurio

Executive Director
 

Executive Director Domenic Mercurio has focused on food and wine education in the CentralMassachusetts area for the better part of two decades. Known in restaurant circles as The Wine Guy, he has been involved in wine importing and distribution for 20 years, as well as cultivating and promoting a local culture of culinary expression and appreciation through multiple communications media and special events. Among his varied achievements, Domenic is the creator of the Worcester’s Best Chef competition, which has spotlighted and promoted the most talented chefs in Central New England for 13 years. He is also publisher of Foodies of New England magazine and the host of Foodies of New England TV.

Raymond Quinlan

Treasurer
 

Raymond Quinlan is a WPM Lead Partner, Construction Manager, and Treasurer. For more than forty years, Mr. Quinlan has been a significant factor in the development and management of academic, healthcare and corporate real estate. Early in his career, he oversaw the master planning and development of a new academic campus for Bryant University in Smithfield, RI. Later, he led the expansion and oversaw the development of the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and Massachusetts Biotechnology Research Park.

Edith Murnane

Edith Murnane is a WPM boardmember, and as founding director she led the initial process of concept development and vendor recruitment. For more than twenty years, Edith has worked in the food and farming industry and currently serves as a consultant and advocate to organizations like the WPM and the Mass Farmers Markets. Edith was instrumental in the development of the Centre/South Main Streets in Jamaica Plain and in the creation and development of their First Thursdays campaign. She has served on the Board of the Boston Public Market, has built farmers markets, and was instrumental in the growth of the Boston Bounty Bucks a double value coupon program sponsored by the City of Boston. Most recently, Edith worked for the City of Boston as the city's first Director, Office of Food Initiatives.
